Investments in Connext and Biconomy
We were thrilled to have been 1 of 82 participants in Connext’'s latest $12m ecosystem round and also support Biconomy in their latest $9m raise! Both protocols vastly improve the user experience for interoperability, which is a key strategic theme for Chorus One.
Lido for Solana Update
We have been heads down building Lido for Solana in recent months. We are getting ever-so-close to releasing Lido’s liquid staking derivative for Solana (stSOL) as we prepare the final touches for mainnet. The tutorial of the month is how to deposit $ATOM to receive $wATOM and then how to deposit $wATOM to receive $pATOM (ATOM Liquid Staking Token!). Persistence’s latest application, pSTAKE, is the first liquid staking application for Cosmos assets and it is now available to use in Beta mode. Use at your own risk.
Network Updates

On July 13, Band had to be halted whilst going through a mainnet upgrade. The post mortem can be found here. In more positive news, Band has now been integrated into the Cosmos ecosystem through Starport.
Celo-powered crypto wallet Valora closed a $20 million funding round. The wallet allows users to send payments with Celo Dollar stablecoins (cUSD).
Asset-backed securitisation and invoice factoring continue to give Centrifuge TVL sustained growth.
Gravity DEX was successfully deployed to Cosmos Hub on July 13. Right now, it is difficult to use without technical knowledge, however Emeris is building a front-end to democratise access to the DEX due for release later this month. Starport v0.17 was also released to improve commands for code generation, better scaffolding UX and simplified default template.
Injective governance has voted to activate spot markets on the Injective DEX. Injective, Sushi, Graph, Polygon, Aave, USDC, Ethereum, USDT, Uniswap, and Chainlink can now be traded on Injective.
Kusama governance voted to upgrade Statemine. Previously, Statemine only accepted upgrade messages from the relay chain. Now, features have been added for fungible and non-fungible assets as well as a teleport interface to accept KSM from the Relay Chain as its native unit of account.
Lido has released a Road to Trustless Ethereum Staking. The report outlines how Lido plans to automate decision-making for onboarding node operators.
Mina has the potential to become the go-to protocol to bridge real-world data onto the blockchain, using zero-knowledge proofs and conditions that execute based on HTTPS data.

pSTAKE, a liquid staking protocol that resides on Persistence, launched in beta-mode in July. The beta mode includes a capped amount of $ATOM that can be deposited before the protocol is fully released.
Regen announced their first major upgrade to be released in August, The new upgrade adds a carbon credit, fee grant and authorisation module to the network.
Governance is now live on SEFI. SEFI is a private and front-running resistant DEX application on Secret Network.
The first 6 applications on SKALE are going live this summer! The first 6 dApps to launch on SKALE are Boot.Finance, Covey, CurioDAO, Human Protocol, Ivy and Minds.
Neon Labs have released Neon on Solana’s testnet. Neon is an EVM-compatible scalability solution on Solana. In the near future, Ethereum dApp developers will be able to use their existing code to launch their applications on Solana.
